This AEMT course requires 300 Hours for course completion. Day classes are (Monday thru Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm) 8 hours @ day 5 days @ week.
AEMT’s function as part of a holistic EMS response and operates under medical oversight. They perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The major difference between the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and the Emergency Medical Technician is the ability to perform limited advanced skills and provide pharmacological interventions to emergency patients.
Training Hours Required: (AEMT On-site Course 300 Hours) – (M-F 9:00am – 5:00pm) 40 Hrs @ Week
